OBESITY

Obesity  is  a  condition  of  having  an  excessive   accumulation  of  fat  in  the  body,  resulting  in  body  weight  more  than  20%  above  the  average  for  height.  Insulin  resistance ( when  the  body  cannot  absorb  blood  sugar  or  insulin  properly)  is  un  underlying  cause  of  weight  gain  and  obesity;  and  there  are  many  factors  that  contribute  to  its  presence  in  the  body.  Our   environment  and  lifestyles  have  evolved  too rapidly  for  our  bodies  to  keep  face. Weight gain  and  obesity substantially increase your chances  of  causing  damage    your  cardiovascular  system,  which  can  lead  to  heart  attack  or  stroke.

Obesity could be a combination of the following :

  • The genes you inherited from your parents
  • How well your body burn food and energy
  • Your eating and exercising habits
  • Your surroundings
  • Psychological factors

Consequences of  Obesity   :

  • Shorter  life expectancy
  • Compared  to people  of normal weight . obese people have a 50% to 100% increased risk of dying prematurely
  • Obese people have more risk for :
Diabetes (type-2) ,  Joint problems,  High blood pleasure,  Heart disease,  Gallbladder  problems,  Certain types of cancer ( breast, uterine ,colon), Digestive disorders  ,Breathing difficulties,  Psychological  problems such as depression, Problems with fertility  & Pregnancy, Urinary Incontinence .
  • Difficulties with day-to-day living & social well being :

    • Normal tasks becomes harder when you are obese , as movement is more difficult
    • The person tend to tire more quickly and you find yourself short of breath
    • Negative self image ,Social isolation, Discrimination
What are the causes of obesity?
    • Poor Digestion puts on the Pounds
    • Energy Balance
    • Life style and eating habits.

Dieting ,exercise and medication have long been regarded as the conventional methods to acieve weight loss .Sometimes these efforts are successful in the short term. However ,for people who are morbidly obese ,the results rarely last . For many ,this can translate into “yo- yo – syndrome’ ,where patients continually gain and lose weight with the possibility of serious psychological and health consequences

What are the disadvantages of having surgical treatment ?

Laproscopy is a surgical procedure ,whereby a surgeon gains access to the abdominal cavity by way of small incisions in the abdominal wall and the Adjustable Lap- Band procedure is performed via a laproscopy as well as vertical Gastrectomy .

The procedures like Bariatric Surgery create restricted stomach space in the upper portion of stomach causes a longer lasting fullness because the nerves that signal the brain ,when you are full located in the upper area of the stomach.

Liposuction use negative pressure in an artificially “wet” environment to remove adipose tissue from the body. Fluid is lost along with the fat, and it is replaced during the procedure to prevent shock, so the patient should receive intravenous fluids during and immediately after surgery. In the tumescent and super-wet techniques, the anesthetic fluid that is injected may cause , the collection of fluid in the lungs.

The risk and complications are- gastrointestinal track leak, bowel obstruction , chronic symptoms of nausea, vomiting & abdominal pain, protein , vitamin and mineral deficiency , hair loss, internal bleeding ,nerve problems, infection, balloon part leakage, slippage or erosion of the silicone band , anesthesia and other complications.

The combination of these factors can greater hazards for the infection; delays in healing; the formation of fat clots or blood clots, fluid loss all occurred when large amount of fat is removed, friction burns, and drug reactions - complete dependence on the surgery skills are its main disadvantages.

The most common weight loss approach is eat less, eat sensibly and exercises more. . The National Institutes of Health report that 90% of the people who participates in diets and weight reduction programs do not experience significant weight loss. The conventional approach to weight problems, focusing on fat diets or weight loss drugs, may leave you with just as much weight and the additional burden of ill health.

Many different cosmetic procedures to re-contour the body into a more idealized form.

    Massage Therapies:

Massage therapies with / without a combination of radio frequency (IR), or Laser Treatments which induce heating at different skin levels . Other minimally invasive methods use injection of medications that dissolves fat. All these procedures act to mobilize fat from the fat cells and redistribute lymphatic fluid rather than destroying the fat cells themselves.

Destruction of fat cells in natural metabolic method (Non-surgical)

Lipolysis is a safe, painless non- surgical treatment. This process sends ultra sound energy into problematic area to destroy fat, where membranes of the fat cells are disrupted , releasing triglycerides into the interstitial fluid ,where they are enzymatically cleaved by fat cell associated lipoprotein lipase (LPL) ,to generate free fatty acids and glycerol. These free fatty acids , as albumin – bound lipoprotein complexes , and glycerol are transported to the liver or to the other cell as energy sources.

    LIPOLYSIS

DESTRUCTION OF FAT & ITS CELLS

This process sends ultra sound energy into problematic area to destroy fat, where adipocyte membranes are disrupted , releasing triglicerides into the interstitial fluid ,where they are enzymatically cleaved by fat cell associated lipoprotein lipase (LPL) ,to generate free fatty acids and glycerol. These free fatty acids , as albumin – bound lipoprotein complexes , and glycerol are transported to the liver or to the other cell as energy sources.

    Why is lipolysis better?

In Lipolysis, ultra sound beams are sent into the problematic areas to destroy fat cells. You don’t have to have your life interrupted since recovery is very quick. There is virtually no pain (there is no heating up of the skin) plus no bruises, scars or swelling. This process simply sends ultra sound energy to target direct areas to help you to get rid of stubborn fat ,which are resistant to diet & exercise.

What happens to the fat after treatment?

When the fat cell membrane is destroyed, triglycerides are released into the interstitial fluid between cells. They are then transported –through the vascular(veins) and lymphatic systems to the liver and processed by known metabolic ways.

Can you see results straight away?

There is a gradual clearance of fat over the first week, but on the second and third week the solid components of disrupted fat cells- the membrane ,nucli, etc- are cleared by the immune system ,so the final result is visible only after 28 days.

Is there is any side effects / risk after this treatment ?

There have not yet been any documented side effects. The same ultrasound technology used in pregnancy ,is used in lipolysis. When having the procedure you may feel slight heat on the destructing area, which is bearable and it doesn’t require any medication / anesthesia for the treatment . The process is selective and destroys only the skin of the fat cells.

How many treatments do you need?

Obsesity patients would require multiple treatments however some patients who aren’t particularly overweight will only need two sessions ,who want a perfect shape for the body.

Does the treatment remove the fat cells permanently?

No , it is not destructing the whole of the body’s fat cells. each time it is destructing only one inch of fat and its cells , if the patient is having more than three inch of fat he has to do the treatment on that area two to three times, depending upon his/her metabolic rates.

    (Key to Slimming)

Obesity is a condition in which excess fat has accumulated into the body when the weight is 20% or greater ,the person is considered obese. Signs and symptoms of obesity include shortness of breath excess accumulation of fat ,insulin resistance, increase in size or number of fat cells, increased blood pressure elevated cholesterol levels, back pain, decreased levels of high intensity lipoprotein and alterations in the parasymphathetic and symphathetic nervous system .Excessive amounts of fat in the body can increase the risk and cause of a wide variety of severe health problems, from stroke to hypertension to dyslipidemia(high cholesterol or high levels of triglycerides) ,respiratory problems, types of cancer, type 2 diabetes ,heart disease, osteoarthritis and gallbladder disease.

Before   Destruction After Destruction (28 Days)

The only way to induce long term body contouring is by the destruction of fat cells ,which lowers the number of fat cells on the targeted area . Targeted contouring like liposuction and massage therapies with or without combination of Radio-frequency (RF) ,Infra-red (IR),or laser treatments ,which induce tissue heating at different skin levels, rather then destroying the fat cells. Another disadvantages are the injection of very large quantise of tumescent fluids into the body ,need of general anesthesia, accompanied by long recuperation period and lot of hidden dangers and complete dependence on the surgeon skills.

    Fibrous Septea

Before Destruction Immediately After Destruction After Destruction (28 Days)

A new break through non-invasive (non-surgical) body technology which removes excess fat cells
without surgery which are resistant to diet and exercise. This techniques is called non-surgical
lipolysis and it help make it possible to permanently change your body contour. The success of body contouring - whether it is done to reduce or lift - is influenced by your age, body type and skin tone.

Destruction of fat cells in natural metabolic method (Non-surgical)

This non-surgical Liposuction is a safe, painless, surgery free body contouring treatment. This process sends ultra sound beams into problematic area to destroy fat cells. It is an alternative treatment for men and women to remove excess fat cells, without surgery focusing on the hips, stomach, thighs, bottom, flanks (love handles), breast ,gynacomastia etc.

What happens to the fat after treatment?
Fat is natures way of storing excess energy, as it takes up very little space and does not require a lot of water when stored in a cell. Upto 75% of the volume of fat cells is occupied with what we call
fat (triglycerides). The focused ultra sound beam is directed towards a specific area within the fat layer. The ultra sound waves causes mechanical disruption of the membranes of the fat cells, sparing the blood vessels, peripheral sensory nerves and connective tissue. Since the effect is focused to specific depth, overlaying skin is not damaged. Fat exists in the form of triglycerides. When the fat cell membrane is destroyed, triglycerides are released into the interstitial fluid between cells.

      Before Destruction Immediately After Destruction

The presence of large amounts of triglycerides, in interstitial fluid compartments, has no natural correlate. When outside the fat cell, triglycerides are normally packaged in discrete lipoprotein particles - a combination of apolipoproteins and lipids, cholesterol, tryglycerides, and cholesteryl esters. A series of metabolic pathways direct the trafficking of water insoluble molecules of cholesterol and triglycerides through the water based circulatory system and to the interstitial fluid space. During the passage, through the arteries and interstitial space, lipoprotein bound triglycerides are catabolized to free fatty acids and glycerol molecules. Interstitial fluid compartments contain lipoproteins, biological signals and chemicals analytes that all intereact and engage cells through cell surface membrane receptors or processes (Phagocytosis etc.) .

Free fatty acids released during the treatment will eventually be delivered to the liver or other tissues that need these molecules as building blocks or energy. In the liver, there is no distinction between fatty acids that originate from disrupted adipocytes, those taken from adipocytes due to physiological needs or those originated from a meal consumed several hours ago. In other words, free fatty acids released from the treated fat cells are being processed in normal pathways that nature has evolved for the transport of fat. The broken cells debris is cleared by the normal inflammatory response ie., phagocytosis.

An opposed to liposuction, the technology of ultrasound video tracing systems only destroys the fat cells in the targeted areas. As new fat cells are not produced in adulthood, fat cells that are destroyed will not reappear. This ensures that treatment results are permanent. Fat from the destroyed cells are metabolized in the same way as the fat we eat. There have not been any documented side effects to this date. The same ultra sound technology used in pregnancy but are generally more power full and focused. Multiple treatments may be required to address several areas of the body. the treatment is virtually pain free and is the only treatment except for liposuction that removes fat permanently.

In conclusion, the released tryglycerides or its derivatives are processed by known metabolic pathways. No unnatural or new metabolic pathways are required for the body to process the released triglycerides. In addition, tryglycerides from adipocytes treated by this treatment, ultimately travel to the liver, where it is recycled to meet the continuing demands of the body.

You will notice a reduction in your body circumference after one treatment itself, but after 28 days, the full result will be realized. Treated areas can be free from fat, without pain and discomfort of surgery. After the destruction of fat cells treatment in unwanted areas, it is a time to firm up the skin of the treated areas. After the treatment all the patients love the fact that it is a non-invasive, no downtime, painless approach to treat troublesome fat deposits.

    1. What happens after the treatment?
The treatment involves minimal discomfort with no inconvenience reported after the treatment. All patients resumed normal activities immediately after the treatment. There is no recuperation period and no need of follow up visits. The skin surface remains smooth and the fat texture remains homogeneous. Treated areas can be free from fat, without pain and discomfort of surgery. It is a safe ,effective and surgery free body contouring treatment.

    2. Have I experience any problems or risk after the treatment?
It selectively target only the fat cells in the choosen area with no damage to neighbouring structures like skin, blood vessels and peripheral nerves. In conclusion the released triglycerides or its derivatives are processed by known metabolic ways.

    3. What results can I expect and how many treatments I need ?
A person can notice a reduction in the body circumference after one treatment itself but after 28 days, the full result will be realised. The results are permanent because fat cells are not generated in adulthood, but overeating and lack of exersice will cause the fat to come back in diffrent parts in the body. The treatments depends on the amount of fat the person to wish to loose.

    4. What are the advantages of the treatment ?
Since damage to the fat cells is not due to thermal effects, there is no burn injury, minimizing the risk of fibrosis/swelling/pigmentation/ scarring/irregular asymmetric after the treatment. The procedure is like "Doctor without scalpels!". The treatment is completely painless and designed as "walkin-walkout procedure.

    5. In what way is non-surgical lipolysis a better choice than surgical liposuction?
In liposuction and massage therapies and laser treatments only heating skin at different levels to mobilise the fat ,rather then destroying the fat cells Other disadvantages are the injection of very large quantities of tumescent fluids into the body , need of general anesthesia accompanied by a long recuperation period , lot of hidden dangers -loses of significant fluids in the process, bruising swelling on that area and complete dependence on the surgeon skills. Some patients looses significant fluids in the process ,making re-hydration, a critical post up recovery .There will be irregular asymmetric or baggy skin ,numbness and pigmentation changes, bruising and swelling on that area.In liposuction procedure fats are succed out rather than destructing the fat
    cells.

In non-surgical lipolysis it is not only removing excess fat,it is also destructing the fat cells. There is no artificial method is needed to remove the fat,in other words it is processed in normal pathways as energy sources.
