Skin ages in two ways - from inside called intrinsic aging and the outside known as extrinsic aging.
Intrinsic Aging - thinning of the epidermis and dermis, loss of elasticity, decreased metabolic activity
and diminished vitality which results in less collagen production and more lined skin. Extrinsic
Aging - damage inflicted by the Sun's Ultra Violet rays and pollution, which results in making the skin
rough and dry with poor elasticity.Lines or a wrinkle comes in three varieties - Static, Dynamic and Skin Folds.
Static wrinkles are visible on the face when at rest, dynamic wrinkles appear only during the muscle movements,
Skin fold wrinkles as a result of sagging, when the outer skin and its tissue beneath have lost elasticity.
