Marine Drive: Marine Drive is one of the most popular sightseeing spot in Cochin. From here you can enjoy a great view of the harbour and the beautiful backwaters. This area has a large number of places to hangout such as shopping complexes, cinema halls, parks and restaurants.

Hill Palace Museum: The largest archeological museum in Kerala, Hill Palace Museum is located a few kilometers from the city in Thripunithura. The museum has 18 galleries and exhibits 14th century carvings, paintings, jewellery and ornaments, artifacts and much more.

Museum of Kerala History: This museum is located in Edapally at about 10 kms from the city and exhibits artifacts and sculptures from the Neolithic Age to the modern period. There is a gallery of paintings here as well which has more than 200 paintings by renowned artists.

St. Francis Church: St. Francis is the first church to be built by Europeans in India. The renowned Portuguese explorer, Vasco da Gama was buried here in 1524. The tombstone can still be seen here, eventhough his remains are now in Lisbon. English and Malayalam services are conducted throughout the week.

Fort Kochi beach: Fort Kochi is one of the three main regions of the other corporations of Cochin. Fort Kochi beach is a very beautiful place and a major tourist attraction in Cochin. Here you get to see beautiful sunsets with the Chinese fishing nets in the foreground.
