Rhinoplasty is Cosmetic Surgical Procedure , used to change the Size, Shape or overall appearance of the nose. Rhinoplasty can be used to increase or decrease the overall size of the nose, to change the shape of its bridge or tip, and to expand or narrow the nostrils. It can improve the patients appearance dramatically offering greater confidence and self-esteem.

Rhinoplasty is usually an outpatient procedure performed under general anesthesia. The surgeons begins by either making an incision inside the nose (Closed Rhinoplasty) or across the columella(Open Rhinoplasty) .The Columela is the thin strip of tissue that separates the nostrils. If the incision is made inside the nose, there will be no visible scar, but if incision is made across the columella, there will be a small scar from these incisions the surgeon can remove and reform the cartilage desired shape.

There are two types of Rhinoplasty:

1) Non Caucasion Rhinoplasty. - Operative procedures are used to modify the Non-Caucasian nose by usually adding height, decreasing width and making the tips area more refined.

2) Fitness Sculpting Rhinoplasty - procedure beautifies the nose in a completely natural way by sculpting and molding the nasal tissues, instead of breaking the nasal bones and cutting cartilage. The excess bone is shaved and the tip cartilage is thinned and reshaped to add definition.
