Restylane
Restylane is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler comprising of non-animal stabilized Hyaluronic acid.Hyaluronic acid is a substance that already exists in the human body and is used to the skin. Restylane is injected into the dermis using a fine needle to correct facial wrinkles and folds, augment hollow cheeks, chin and contour lips. Results become apparent almost immediately. It is also used in the correction of scars. Having a touch up treatment before the product has fully dissipated will enhance the lasting effect. As the product is non-allergic, skin testing as for collagen injections is not necessary.
The Restylane - hyaluronic fillers come in three forms with different particles for different purposes. Fine molecules are used for superficial wrinkles and fine lines around eyes and mouth; medium -sized molecules for moderate wrinkles and an even larger particle for plumping lips. Hyaluronic acid, a substance found in the living material of skin itself where it plays an important role keeping the skin moisturised. The molecule in these injectable are identical in all species. When long chain hyaluronic acid breaks down, it attracts water so bulking up the molecule, making the filler effect last longer. In most people they last longer than collagen, but this differs from person to person. |
